Elitist RINO John McCain on the Senate floor this past week called those of us who believe in the fight to secure a balanced budget amendment and entitlement reforms, “Tea Party Hobbits.” McCain said we thought we “could return to Middle Earth having defeated Mordor.” Who the hell does this guy think he is? Is this all a joke to him?
We have 9.2% unemployed with millions of others living in fear of losing their jobs. Our economy is in such dire straits from out of control spending and printing paper money out of fairy dust that the IMF recently issued a report on a possible replacement for the U.S. dollar as the world’s reserve currency.
This raise in the debt ceiling fiasco has been a great excuse for the news media to ignore the Obama Administration’s sale of weapons to Mexican drug cartels, resulting in the murder of at least one U. S. Border Agent and countless other men, women and children. Over 1,700 guns sold illegally, some to known felons, in 15 months. Operation Fast and Furious was a deliberate strategy and violation of the law in an attempt by our government to blame cartel gun violence on Unites States gun stores. According to House Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, Attorney General Eric Holder is stonewalling the investigation. Operation Fast and Furious makes Nixon’s Watergate pale by comparison. Yet, the media (other than Fox News) and our politicians bury this story with yet another “the world is coming to an end” trumped up crisis. Yes, we needed to address the debt ceiling. Did we have to do it by August 2nd? No, we didn’t.
Moody’s Investors Service announced Friday that while a rise in the debt ceiling was necessary, it “would not put the nation’s AAA credit rating back on solid footing.” Our problem is spending, not revenue. We need to get government off the backs of businesses small and large so they can feel safe to start hiring. We could dramatically increase revenue by seriously shrinking government, restraining the EPA and adopting reasonable tax laws. We can’t have General Electric and 49% of the people not paying any income tax. If this makes me a Hobbit to John McCain, so be it.
To the 22 who voted “no” after Boehner commanded you all to “get your ass in line,” I salute you. Please get the list of 22; print it out and support these people in 2012. To others who fought the good fight as long as you could, I truly appreciate the effort. I am on the side of the millions like Rush Limbaugh who felt we should have never given up. Still, I respect those who did their personal best. When people of integrity like Laura Ingram, Thomas Sowell and Allen West supported the Boehner Bill Part 2, I will respectfully agree to disagree.
Speaking of Rep. Allen West, he would never have voted for a bill because of a threat by Boehner or anyone else. He would do what he considered the right thing in spite of the threat. West stated he wanted Cut, Cap and Balance, which passed the House. They should have stood firm. We are all being played and the time draws near to end this game.

One Half of One Third
In blogs posted November 14 (Party Leadership) and again on December 12 (Bounce Boehner) I pleaded with the Republicans in Congress first to not allow Boehner to become Speaker of the House and, when that fell on deaf eyes, to fire him.
All we have to do is listen to the left-wing media’s praise for Boehner after the budget fiasco to understand who they want to remain as speaker. Boehner said today on Fox and Friends that he wanted to lock arms with President Obama and jump out of the boat together. If they had cement blocks tied to their ankles, I would enthusiastically support his desire.
The Republican leadership capitulated. Their next surrender will be the debt ceiling.
When will we call this treason?

Rome is Burning
Representatives King and Bachmann have issued a letter to the House leadership urging them to rescind the $105 billion that was hidden within the 2.900 page bill to immediately fund Obama Care. According to Bachmann, Section 402 of this bill provides for$16 billion of this money to be spent in any manner deemed appropriate by HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. Also, under Section 1311(a), Sebelius is allowed to take money direct from the Treasury and give any amount to any State without having to secure approval from Congress. With the 2012 elections just around the corner, is there any doubt Kathy will deem the blue state of California, the SEIU and ACORN (by any other name) as worthy?
King and Bachmann want House Speaker Boehner to insert a provision in the new Continuing Resolution (CR) to fund the government that would rescind this massive theft. According to a flash Tea Party Patriots’ email, Speaker Boehner’s response was that he would not “break the rules” by including a defunding provision in the next CR. There are so MANY things wrong with Boehner’s response, not the least of which is A) He has waived the rules for other issues and B) His party is now the majority and make the rules.
So, the Republican leadership has done their level best to convince their more conservative members to understand why they should not keep their promises to those who put them in office. Part of that promise was to cut a paltry $100 billion from the budget this year. After much blow-back, they came up with just over $61 billion in cuts. Come on! The government added $3 trillion to the national debt over the past 2 years. To put this in perspective, if you were spending $2,000 a month on necessities such as food, rent, insurance, etc. and realized you had to cut expenses or go bankrupt, this would be like cutting your discretionary spending by 6 cents a month. Yet, they are still arguing over this.
Now that we know of this $105 Billion liberal slush fund, anyone in Congress who does not support King and Bachmann in their position of immediately rescinding this atrocity is not serious about opposing Obama Care.
The House leadership is saying they want to secure a 3-week Continuing Resolution and are demanding cuts of $6 billion or they will not pass it, allowing the government to shut down. Really. According to Senator Mark Warner (D), our debt increases by $4 billion a DAY! So under this brilliant plan the debt will have a net increase of another $78 billion at the end of the 6 weeks.
It never stops. We are approaching $14 Trillion in debt and on the verge of becoming a second tier nation. With all this, what does Congress focus on? Last Friday Congressman McClintock sent out an e-letter to announce the 2011 Congressional Arts Competition, a nationwide high-school art competition sponsored by the U.S. House of Representatives. They just don’t get it.
Our politicians make Nero appear to have been a pro-active leader. We are rapidly running out of time to save our Republic. This is a threat to our very sovereignty.

Bounce Boehner
More than 2 weeks before the Nov. 2nd election, I predicted a Republican pick-up of 55 to 60 House seats and 9 to 10 Senate seats. The final totals were 63 and 6. If it were not for the Republican machine fighting against us, we would have picked up 8 in the Senate (Alaska and Nevada). Considering I was more accurate than people like Dick Morris who are paid lots of money to go on TV, write blogs and books about politics, I’ll take it.
I posted a Blog November 4th called Party Leadership. Many who follow my blogs questioned why I was so negative toward John Boehner. If you have been paying attention since then, I trust you now understand. The so called leadership of the Republican Party broke their promise on not raising taxes and stopping earmarks faster than hummingbirds wings can flap. Then Boehner anoints the China light bulb pusher Fred Upton as Chairman Energy & Commerce and pork-barrel king Hal Rogers as House Appropriations Chairman. Both of these appointments were in direct opposition to the wishes of the Tea Party movement. This was a backhanded slap to the face followed by a kick to the groin.
If all of our work during 2010 is to mean anything of significance, we must stop Boehner and his cohorts. We can do this. You see, Boehner need not be Speaker of the House. This cannot officially be voted on until the class of 2011 is sworn-in.
I am pleading with Tom McClintock (CA), Michele Bachman (MN), Jason Chaffetz (Ut), Jeff Flake (AZ), Jeff Miller (FL) and the other veteran congressman constitutionalists, to join the freshmen and block Boehner and his cronies. You can do this. You can stop the business as usual mentality. Do NOT let them maintain leadership or very little will change, regardless of the People’s landslide election of last month.
Candidly, we who work for a living and pay for everything, are running out of options. I am pleading with you to fight the good fight for us. Do not let these DC blue-bloods continue to bankrupt our Country.
